Most of my adult life has been outside the corners of our house. As a girl who always loved being away and discovering new ways of life, nostalgia don’t visit me often. But home is a place that I will always go back to no matter how far I’ve been in the world. It’s where my true self resides despite the influence of many people and places.
It is only when I’m home:
..that I hear my sisters argue with all the household chores. It’s ironic how I miss hearing those.
..where the clanging of utensils serves as my alarm clock. Ooh believe me, you’ll wake up at 7:00am.
..where my mother’s rants is my everyday music. She just won’t stop that I eventually got used to it.
..where I can watch series everyday nonstop. One of the perks of having a family who loves the same.
..where I don’t have to bother if I wear the same clothes and wash up every other day.
Life at home is pretty laid back, and that’s what I like about it.
